SUBURBAN AMATEUR FOOTBALL
LEAGUE This season Amherst
Youth Football will again compete in the Suburban Amateur Football
League. This coming season will mark the 40th that SAFl has provided a
safe and fun football program for the youth of Western
Massachusetts.
Everybody plays.
Any child from 8 years of age to those who turn 15 after January 1, 2008
can participate. Weight restrictions will only apply to players
positions.
Practices begin Monday, August 4th.
Teams will compete in three
divisions:
Pee Wee 3rd & 4th grades
ages 8-11 (after 1/1/08)
Junior
5th & 6th grades ages 10-13 (after 1/1/08)
Senior
7th & 8th grades ages 13-15 (after 1/1/08)
Sign up at LSSE offices at the Bangs
Center. The registration fee of $185 covers the cost of insurance,
league fees, and equipment. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash or checks
accepted. All participants must submit a birth
certificate at the time of registration!
Registrations received after June
30th will be assessed a $15 late fee. For more information please
