Elementary and Teen Skiing and Snowboarding
Here's that popular ski program for Amherst Area Schools, grades 2-12,
supervised by adult volunteer chaperones and staff. It is held at
Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, MA. This ski area offers a
large variety of trails, ranging from beginner to "expert." The trails
are well groomed and offer panoramic views of the Berkshire Mountains.
Its state of the art snow-making equipment can defy Mother Nature and
provide excellent ski conditions throughout the season. Students are
transported to and from Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, MA
aboard coach buses.
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify, (Amherst
residents only).
Program Starts Jan 7th & 8th- Register Early!
Cost of 5-Week Program:
Elementary Program Ski/Snowboard & Mandatory Lessons $305
Teen Program Ski/Snowboard (no lesson or rentals) $230
Group Lessons (optional) $75
*For registrations after December 18, a $10 late fee will be
charged.
Rentals for Both Programs:
Skis $70
Snowboards $90
Helmets are Strongly Recommended for all participants!

Elementary Ski and Snowboard Program
This popular downhill ski/snowboard program for children grades
2-6 offers five 45-minute ski or snowboard lessons
and free ski time each week. Children are taught by experienced,
certified instructors from the Berkshire East staff. Children's
skills are assessed on-site, and ski staff will place students
at the appropriate levels.
Transportation
Coach buses pick up at Fort River, Wildwood, Crocker Farm,and
Mark's Meadow Schools. Parents must provide transportation from
Leverett, Shutesbury, and Pelham schools to Wildwood School.
Participants are all returned to the Middle School by
7:30 p.m.

Lessons
Are you a first-time skier/snowboarder and want to be part of
the ski/snowboarder program? Take ski/snowboard lessons! For an
additional $75 you can have a 45-minute group lesson each week
at Berkshire East Ski Resort.
Transportation
Coach buses pick up teens at the Middle School. Participants are
all returned to the Middle School by 8:30 p.m.
