WHAT: Registration for the Amherst LSSE Girls’ Softball League
(beginning Wednesday, January 2, 2007)
WHO: The league consists of three divisions:
3rd-4th Grade
5th-6th Grade
7th-12th

WHEN: Practices begin in
early April, and games will be held in May & June.
WHY: This
is a recreational league, so all divisions emphasize skill development,
teamwork, and fun.
HOW:
You may register by phone (259-3065), mail (using the
registration form in the back of this catalog), website (www.lsse.org),
in person at the LSSE office, or at the "All Sports Day" Saturday, March
1st from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. in the Amherst High School Cafeteria.
Registration is $60 per player (nonresidents add $10). A late fee of $10
will be assessed on registrations received after Friday, March 21st.

Girls’ Softball Coaches Meeting:
All individuals who wish to coach a team in this year’s Girls’
Softball League must attend the organizational meeting on Wednesday,
April 2nd from 6-7 p.m. in the Bangs Center.
Rules, schedules & other topics pertaining to this year’s league will be
discussed, and coaches will be given their team roster and equipment
bags at the end of the meeting.
