Changing Your Password

1. You must first connect to eclecTechs.
   
2. You also must have an SSH program and have it configured for eclecTechs. You can find instructions on how to do this at: PC Users and Mac Users.
   
3. Once you have installed and configured the SSH program, open a session for valinet.com
   
4. You will be prompted to login. Type in your username, but don't put the @valinet.com, @westmass.com, or @noho.com after it. Then Press enter.
   
5. Type in your password and press enter.
   
6. At the prompt, type in passwd and then hit enter.
   
7. You will then be prompted for your old password as well as your new.
   
8. When you have finished, just close the telnet window, and your password should be changed.
   
9. Make sure you put your new password in all places that require a password.
